Our Programs

English Communication

Objective: Develop fluency and confidence when conversing in English

Duration: 11 weeks 

Audience:  First and second year university students  

Details:
 
  • Identify areas of strengths and weaknesses in conversational English
  • Engage in practical and relevant topics of conversational interest such as the society, economy, health and technology
  • Understand ways to develop English skills outside of the mentoring sessions

Career Exploration

Objective: Identify careers of interest and create a roadmap for gaining experience and developing career profile

Duration: 12 weeks 

Audience:  Third and fourth year university students  

Details:
 
  • Students discover possible careers they may want to explore
  • Students identify the skills required to succeed in those careers
  • Introduce career tools such as resumes, LinkedIn profiles and personal statements
  • Develop an action plan to build students’ career profiles after the end of the program

Career Preparation

Objective: Support students in finding a job after graduation

Duration: 12 weeks 

Audience:  Fourth year university students  

Details:

  • Identifying a personalised list of job titles and companies
  • Preparing tailored resumes and cover letters
  • Understanding how to prepare for and conduct interviews
  • Learning how to do outreach and network to find roles
  • Understanding the key skills required to make an impact in a job

Industry Talks

We bring in experts from various industries and professions to share their journeys and engage in discussions with students. This provides mentees a broader perspective on the career opportunities that exist and the paths to achieve them.
